Please note:
Ogden City Municipal Code regulates the placement of political signs as follows:

18-4-1:  Signposting prohibited - Public property.  It is unlawful for any person to fasten, attach, paint or place any sign, handbill, poster,advertisement or notice of any kind or sort, whether political or otherwise, or cause the same to be done in or upon a curbstone, lamppost, telephone pole, electric light or power pole, hydrant, bridge or tree, or in or upon any portion of any sidewalk or street.  It shall be unlawful to paste, place, paint or attach any sign defined in this title on any building, street, or property of the City. This also includes 7-3-2 regarding the sight triangle area and 7-2-3 regarding unlawful structures in the public way (park strip) areas.

7-3-2: Sight triangle area designed.  "Sight triangle area" means: 
A. Where curbs are installed: that portion of a corner lot lying within a triangular area formed by measuring back along each of the curb lines to a point forty feet (40') from the intersection of said curb lines, and then connecting the two (2) points thus established with a third line. 

An example of a "sight triangle area" at an intersection where curbs are installed is marked off by the shaded area in this illustration.

B. Where no curbs are installed: that portion of a corner lot lying within a triangle area formed by measuring back along the property lines adjacent to the intersecting streets to a point on each property line twenty feet (20') back from the intersection of said property lines and then connecting the two (2) points thus established with a third line.

7-2-3: Unlawful structures in public way:  It is unlawful for any person to place, maintain or permit any permanent or temporary structure, mechanism, device, or other thing of any kind or character upon or in the sidewalk, parkway, or other portion of the public way....
